i think tech literate marxists could really do good praxis with older folks by offering free local tech support and specifically offering a service to help people purchase the right electronics for their need/budget. people at the store and for-profit tech support companies try to upsell soo fucking hard, i’ve seen news stories of families outraged that their older relative went to the shop to buy a phone plan and leaving with another 1000$ in unnecessary purchases they were persuaded into buying and didn’t really understand what was happening to them. it’s so gross. we need a network where you can summon a local furry, tell them what you’d like to buy and what you’re willing to spend, and they escort you to best buy to fend off those vultures to ensure you aren’t ripped off.
i keep telling myself i canโt handle longer projects but in the last four days i wrote 23,377 words just totally by the seat of my pants
This is the Good Post of seat-of-your-pants inspiration, reblog so you too may add 23,377 words to your WIP without a single moment of hesitation or self-doubt

joining a fandom discord server is so funny bc you either come out with some of the bestest friends you’ve ever made in your life OR the experience of bearing witness to some of the most insane and specific drama you could imagine
if the fandom is large enough you can speedrun both at once
There’s really ノ need to get ソ worked up over something as miンor as this!

Oケ guys let’s chill out, it クld be a lot worse.
I can’t speak for every screen reader, but if you listen to this post on VoiceOver it reads almost perfectly.
For those without a screen reader that transitions between English and Japanese so easily (or sight readers who can’t read Japanese): the symbols are Japanese Katakana. Each symbol represents a phonetic syllable. The entire post is just making puns with that, except for the first post, which is just OP being upset that [shi] and [tsu] look so similar.
This isn’t really a plain language transcription, but more of…a sort of translation?
im still pissed off about [shi] and [tsu].
I don’t [shi] wha[tsu] bad about this?
im going to stab you in the face

Thank you for the translations. I knew the characters were forming jokes, but I didn’t have the energy to look up every single character.
Keep making jokes like this it’s the only katakana practice I get these days
True tho, katakana is somehow just the hardest part ngl
Bruh imagine Conan being a gremlin and pulling one of those "mom, i have school project due next morning". Conan asking Ran/Kogoro for help. It's almost midnight. They've just come home from solving a murder case. Everyone is tired.
The point of officially naming a pet is not to actually use that name but to have a baseline from which to come up with every conceivable nickname to call them instead.
You bury a seed not because it looks nice in the dirt, but because the limbs that branch out will look nice in the sky
Congrats on contributing to the ancient tumblr tradition of turning shitposts into profound poetry
